We are seeking candidates for the position of Clinical Manager, Nursing Facilities for Hosparus Inc’s Hospice of Louisville, Louisville, KY. Hosparus is one of the largest hospice providers in the nation.  The mission of Hosparus is to relieve pain, provide comfort and enhance quality of life for those experiencing life-limiting illness or significant loss.

 

The Clinical Manager, Nursing Facilities is responsible for care and services provided by employees supervised and is responsible for compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. The role assists in the implementation of policies and procedures that guide the provision of care and services. The person assures utilization of performance improvement principles and practices, develops, monitors, evaluates and communicates goals with employees supervised. Also, he or she assures cost effective and clinically effective care; is responsible for recruitment and retention of adequate and qualified staff; and assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of current and new programs and services.

Job Requirements

a Registered Nurse with current valid nursing licensure in Kentucky, bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred. Three to five years of hospice/palliative care experience.  Previous supervisory and case management experience preferred.
