We are seeking candidates for the position of Clinical Director, Nursing Facilities-Bowling Green. Hosparus, Inc., Louisville, KY is one of the largest hospice providers in the nation.  The mission of Hosparus is to relieve pain, provide comfort and enhance quality of life for those experiencing life-limiting illness or significant loss.

 

The Clinical Director will oversee site clinical operations in the newly created Hospice of Bowling Green, KY operation.  The Clinical Director collaborates and coordinates with Clinical Directors from other sites to ensure appropriate and consistent communication and implementation of philosophy and processes. This role manages accountability for clinical practice/established goals; and participates in financial planning, strategic planning and organizational goal setting.  She/he supervises and provides leadership and resource consultation to Clinical Managers and other Clinical Management staff; plans/facilitates conference sessions with clinical managers and leadership growth opportunities. The Clinical Director assists the VP of Clinical Services in facilitating both cost effective and clinically effective care through evaluating current practice against evidenced-based, best practices.  Assures effective clinical performance improvement and utilize evidenced-based ‘Best Practice’ and to develop/revise policies and procedures to be consistent with practice.  This roles assures compliance with all licensing, certification, accreditation and regulatory standards as they pertain to the clinical areas. The Clinical Director facilitates recruitment and retention of adequate and qualified staff and participates in administrative on-call rotation.

Job Requirements

BSN is required, a Master’s degree in a clinical area or healthcare administration is preferred.  3-5 years of supervisory, case management and hospice experience is preferred.
